Christine has a diverse background in biology research, from winter ecology and avian behavior to sustainable agriculture and planetary health, and has collaborated with state, federal, and international biologists as well as both industry and academic partners. More recently, her work has focused on the changes of the microbiome over time and the impact of pathogen infection, and the translation of that work from wildlife (bats and frogs) to human health.
